Go-To Green Smoothie

A large number of health transformations seem to begin with a humble green smoothie.

This one is full of magnesium and iron from the spinach, potassium for the nerves from the banana, and protein and healthy fats from the chia. This is superfood in a glass.

When you swap out cereal or toast, which spikes your blood sugar and sets you up for a sugar craving roller coaster all day you will find you have more consistent energy. You’ll eliminate those 3pm energy crashes and trips to the vending machine.

Here’s my easy green smoothie that just makes me feel good and sets me up for my day.

INGREDIENTS:

1 large banana

1 cup fresh spinach leaves

1/2 cup frozen mango

1 tablespoon of chia seeds (for protein)

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

2 tablespoon of water

RECIPE:

Place all ingredients in a high powered blender and blitz for one full minute until smooth and creamy. Enjoy.
